The Institute for Commercial Literacy is currently seeking community funded basic income to launch various projects as well as to assist with the continued development of Commercial Literacy Curriculum and related Software as has been initiated already via Affiliated Programs.
We are pursuing "public service" in the areas of Educational Curriculum Writing, Software Development and Research Science that is funded by community resources.
Our goal is to fill some capitalist system voids that can not and will not be filled via Corporate or Government offerings.
The general public is currently funding independent journalism, podcasts and video production, education and other content now via Sub stack, Patron, and other subscription and donation based systems. In that sense we are just doing the same thing. We've just chosen to use the word's "Basic Income" to raise awareness to them.
That said, the Education , Software and Research services we'd like to offer may be a bit more technical than what most are offering at this time.
Bryan is a Commercial Curriculum Writer, Publisher, Software Developer and Technical Writer. He would like to produce world class curriculum and software with free access globally. He is most curious to see what he can do for educational distribution and basic software use that can be shown to be functional on raspberry pi's for those in countries where buying those would be viewed as an investment and a commitment to commercial and technology education.
Bryan is not opposed to "capitalism". In fact, he enjoys commercial competition, but he feels without a socially funded baseline for Commercial Education and Business Software Offerings, the capitalist model does not work. He feels he witnessed this failure from the 1990s through the early 2020's and he's demonstrated the failures in large markets with his initial public offerings.
Bryan's services will force any seeking to serve others in the same arenas to more aggressively pursue industry niches and stay in them, without a desire to bloat in order to sell out to others. The net result for this setup will be a win for consumers and loss for Venture Capitalists and Software Monopolists.
Those that choose to compete will have to do so with smaller dreams and more of their own longevity in mind. For Software, they can use his data models and target markets to produce more sophisticated stand alone, stand alone cloud, or Saas solutions, as long as they credit his work for data modelling if they are close enough for others to recognize them. As for Literacy Education, he would like to see others use the curriculum to create free and fee based audio and video support systems as well as in person computer labs.
Holly has a Master's in Environmental Science and a PhD in Aquatic Ecology. She is known globally for studying Harmful Algae in Salt Water environments using PCR and qPCR analysis. Toxic algal blooms affecting sea lions, oysters and fish are the types of things she and others like her study. To date, to her knowledge, no one has done much research into what the chemtrail nano articles, the microplastics or residual pharmaceuticals may be doing to our tiniest of environmental species. That research will not transpire any other way than publicly funded as long as the corpo-government systems are in play in the united States.
She has been working for "soft money" (project based work) her entire career. Given the United States doesn't fund Environmental Science like many other 1st and 2nd world countries, and the funding is generally limited to coming from Government and Corporate interests with narrow bandwidths for topics, the money is scarce and competition is fierce. She's survived as a fierce competitor but there is never a time where she has not been looking for her next meal. Imagine hunting constantly for scarce resources for 20 years. It takes a toll. Holly is seeking to do science with more financial stability, without having to take teaching jobs or work in a corporate environment. Holly is open to doing work or helping find people to do work who study the affects the nano-aluminum, micro-plastics and/or residual pharmaceuticals may be having on important environmental organisms. She may or may not be able to do this work or get it supported in labs run by Colleges or Private foundations.
